10-man RAS or two 5-man squads?

Generally speaking, in the points-poor environment of Tournament play, are we better off going for a pair of 5-man squads with the option for 1 Special Weapon each, and a pair of Sergeants, or one 10-man squad with a pair of Special Weapons, the ability to combat-squad where appropriate, but only one Sergeant? As I see it, it breaks down like this;

10 Man Squad:

Theoretically more Versatile: Can Combat Squad, or stay as one large squad for ablative wounds.

10pts cheaper

As a 10-man squad, can benefit more of my troops from a single Character buff eg; Dante, Chaplain

2x 5 man squads

2 Sergeants; one more attack each, and more wargear options, esp Power Weapons/Fists, Storm Shields

Can have an extra member or two added if there are "odd" points spare for an extra body on the board

Extra chance of someone getting Red Thirst

An extra kill point on the board no matter what I want to do

Any more positives/negatives for either? Thanks guys!

10 man all the way

- 5 man squads get degraded quickly to the point where the specials are taking wounds

- 5 man squads lack the attacks to put a dent into large hordes.

- 5 man squads lack the ablative wounds to let the Fist sgt deal with monsters

- Extra killpoint

- No difference in weapons

Yeah, I tested out the 10-man today (previously been using 3 lots of 5, today tried one of 10 and one of 5) and it was pretty devastating, especially combined with Dante and a Priest for FC Hit and Run. Think that's what's going to the tourney tomorrow!
