A Question of Shoulder Pads

So brothers tomorrow I start work on my Rune Priest but a thought has just struck me: What goes on his shoulder pads???

I vaguely remeber that it said somewhere about all Rune Priests being part of the Great Wolf's company (but I may be wrong) so would this mean that he has the Great Wolf's symbol on one shoulder pad and some sort of heraldry on the other? Would he have the symbol Wolf Lord he is assigned to and heraldry? Or would he have the symbol of both the Great Wolf and the Wolf Lord? I just don't know help me please brothers!!!

On an endnote I might go for the Wolf Lord and heraldry idea unless proven undoubtedly wrong. It just seems to fit best.

Thanks in advance,

Fowlie

Aye brother, you got it right, it's your choice and yours alone :( .

It is true that all priests belong to the Great Wolf's company, but as they get assigned to another Lord's GC, they usually wear his GC symbol on the left shoulder.

In the old dex it said and showed Bjorn and Ulrik if I'm not mistaken, wearing Ragnar's insignia, as they were assigned to his GC at that time.

I always go with my Lord's insignia on the left and personal heraldry on the right shoulder pad, so from my point you're good to go.

For mine I'm painting their shoulder pad black with the Great Wolf's symbol.

I will probably have a knee pad painted yellow with Bjorn Stormwolf's symbol on to show they have been assigned to him.

It depends on which you prefer, you could easily say that they have been assigned for a long time and so have taken up the Wolf Lords symbol. Or if you like the idea of a different symbol simply say it is only a short term assignment.
