masterchief4312
greetings brothers. i recently decided to put my full pack of 15 claws in an lrc and have them ride in there. however, i wanted someone to lead them. should i use a wolf guard battle leader or a blood claw sergeant? what are the pros and cons of each? also, a question about rules. it is my first time using vehicles as transports, so once i drop off my blood claws, r they allowed to shoot and then assault in the same turn that they got out of the lrc or do they have to wait til the next turn? finally, for sagas, do u have to put the saga somewhere on the model or can u simply say he has a certain saga? Freman Bloodglaive
If you mean a Battle Leader, or a Pack Leader, then go for the Pack Leader as he can't be targeted. However for a big mob of Blood Claws I'd go for a naked Wolf Priest. Those re-rolls make a vicious unit even nastier. Thunderhawk3015
Lose one blood claw and get the pack leader then attach the wolf priest for the re-rolls. stinkenheim
WGBL will give you more punch in combat (higher Ws and more attacks) but a Wolf Guard Pack Leader cannot be targetted by the enemy and is cheaper. A wolf Priest is a superb addition to a blood claw unit as his ability to grant re-rolls helps them make more of a mess on the first turn. Blood claws suffer in prolonged fights due to their low Ws (unless you are fighting IG, Tau or some Eldar). As for the LRC, yes you can disembark and shoot your weapons. You are also able to assault from it, even after it moved, because it is an Assault Vehicle. If you had Rhinos and Razorbacks you wouldn't be allowed to assault once they had moved but all the Land Raider variants are listed as 'assault vehicles'.
