So I'm in a bit of a God dilemma.

Recommended Posts

Both Khorne and Slaanesh have had their eyes on me for a while now, and I very much like both of them. However, I want to choose a single one to base my army around at the moment. I'll probably be giving my CSM a break whenever the new DE 'dex comes out, so I want to get this army done first and focus on a single patron for now. I love Zerkers and how hard they hit in combat, but Slaanesh incites me to go the Noise Marine route, loading up on Doom Sirens, Lash Princes and bright, eye-catching paint schemes. It's a very hard decision, as Khorne offers a bloody, yet fun playstyle and Slaanesh promises a vibrant-looking and elegant army.

And Tzeentch cried softly in the Warp....

Apart from that, I'd recommend Slaanesh. It's a not-too-often-done army that, frankly, won't be something most people will have a counter for sheerly due to the fact that almost nobody plays them unless they're Daemonette bombing. Oh, and you seem to be the painterly type, and there are few armies not hailing from a Craftworld that are more open to a painter's mad whimsy.

I would go with Slaanesh. Also, if you want 'zerkers, you could reasonably convert a squad as Slaanesh Bezerkers, who crave the sweet caress of a chainaxe through flesh, and who are quick and agile as they dart into battle with their foes. Just another idea.
