cheeseychaoslord
Hi all, For those who remember, my first army was Word Bearers. They were good for a first time painter, but I am re-doing them to match my new army. Its just a mix of what I like, but leans more to Slaanesh and Khorne in paint terms ( well, it will :) ) Anyway, enough talking, here is my first unit. The squad is a mix of re-painted models and original ones with a black wash. (bases still to be done). The scheme is a slight variation of The Purge. These are the re-painted ones, I think I done well on the highlights for some reason, even though most of you will think it's pretty basic. Blood Claws + Khrone = Someone you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alleyway. Counts as 'zerks. Daemonettes next, Time for Trouble, or make it Double!! :cuss Thanks for looking, C&C welcome as ever. Brother Kovash
Your zerkers look great, very striking poses. Did you decide on a color scheme for the daemonettes yet? I hope you keep to your original theme. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209273-iron-warriors-22nd-grand-company/#findComment-2497934 Share on other sites
Pig Of Sparta
I actually really like the highlights on that first squad. They seem to sit just right and add a lot to the overall look of the mini's. Keep up the good work mate James Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209273-iron-warriors-22nd-grand-company/#findComment-2497941 Share on other sites
cheeseychaoslord
Pig Of Sparta: Thanks Man! It means alot to me. Brother Kovash: Thanks! I haven't decided yet for the colour scheme, but I was thinking along the lines of spirity/ghostly green. Sword Brethern: How did you Know?!! Was It the fact that I asked you how you painted them? Or did I give too much away? Well, I lost my camera :) so no pics till I find It. As you can see, it still needs a bit of work (yellow hazard stripes, black wash and base to do). Thanks for Reading, C&C welcome. sword brethren
looking great! :) if you want to practice hazard then use plastic from sprues, thats what i did, then bend them and work on hazards on curved surfaces, it just takes getting used to. keep it up! lets hope the 22nd and 33rd mechanised get along ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209273-iron-warriors-22nd-grand-company/#findComment-2504856 Share on other sites

cheeseychaoslord
Hi all!!!! My plans to paint the Daemonettes next went right out the window when I got given a whole bunch of chaos marines from my Friend. I am currently waiting to get some acetone free nail varnish remover to strip the paint off. Here is what I got A close up of the spawn, I'm not sure when it's from, but its metal. And my latest conversion, Lord Malledar the Bloody of the Daemonata. The Daemonata are the green marines in my first post, rather than The Purge. Thanks for looking!! Pig Of Sparta
I like that Lord a lot. I've often toyed with the idea of mixing the DA robed parts with Chaos parts and you seem to have got the mix just right on him. The colour scheme works really well too, the dirty metal complementing the slightly decayed look of the ceramite perfectly :) James Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209273-iron-warriors-22nd-grand-company/#findComment-2522222 Share on other sites
