4th company Ultramarine kill team game

Hi there its the return of the 4th company again, First of all I would like to thank everyone for there kind comments about my redeemer. :P

Right down to the game. It was a 200pt koll team game and there was 2 of us per side. I teamed with imerial gaurd and used a razorback and sterngaurd. Rules also stated that we equip 3 of our models, each with a universal special rule, It was a great game and despite loosing, we all had fun and it only took a couple of hours. :)

You stuff is very... colorful. The color scheme is not exactly my cup of tea, but you painted is well executed and the models look very nice. I especially like the weathering... it looks nice but is not overdone. I hate it when people 'whether' half a model...

why thatnk you brother. They may be a little colourfull for ultramarines but they are my 4th company, and thats what makes them unique, unlike any other.

Personally I like your Ultramarines. Where's the fun in building and painting your army the exact same as everyone else?

I love your last picture in particular, because it almost looks loke "real" for somekind, like a snap-shot:-). I dislike the colours of the Rhino because it doesn´t fit the Ultramarines colour scheme :)

I can only agree on the weathering - in general I hate it because people overdo it

 

Otherwise your style may be debatable, but the painting is great.

 

Green techmarines? That isn't in the Codex, now is it? :) Personally I'd stick to the colors of the specialists, but that is because I like something general to show in between all the different marine armies (the blue librarian, red techmarine, white apothicary etc.)

 

You use the natural lines in the armor of both your vehicles and your infantry, which is very cool! It is very clear on the land raider, where the color changes at each natural line on the mini.

 

And I really like your sternguard, your white is great and the colors seem toned down a bit. Great job.

Thankyou brothers I appreciate all your comments, both positive and critical. Some people get upset over negitive comments. :tu:

 

People may not stick to schemes, but I have been inspired by so many painter that may not be great at painting and just have the balls to try different colours, and that is what makes there army stand out from the other on the board. :yes:

 

I have learned to take critism as constructive, so once again, thankyou brothers. :D
