Grimtooth
I am looking for a spear/halberd carrying arm for a model on a TWM. I will be customizing the spear/halberd, but would like to have an established base to start with in terms of arm. I think GK had some decent arms that a pivot of the wrist would be helpful. Any others out there? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209455-bitz-help/ Share on other sites
Einholt
Can't remember how chaosy they are but the halberds from plastic chaos knights are pretty tasty. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209455-bitz-help/#findComment-2498740 Share on other sites
Grimtooth
I am looking for the arm/elbow configuration more then the actual weapon. I know the fantasy Chaos lines has some good poses, but then I am left with bare arms for the most part I think. Marshal Wilhelm
I am looking for a spear/halberd carrying arm for a model on a TWM. Any others out there? It does depend on how you want the weapon carried. Have you seen the TWC by Levitas ~ those kinds of poses? How about these: Firepower's lance armed biker? I am also doing lance armed bikes. I have used a bolter right arm. Cut the bolter off. The hand is below the right pec, as per usual. Rotate the arm so the hand moves from in front of the pec to as though he had opened a door. Now rotate the arm so instead of holding open a door, he is carrying a briefcase. You see that you need to cut the shoulder so you get some contact between it and the torso. Cut that off and glue. The lance will now be nearly in the couched position ~ couched is the classic position knights used for bracing the lance to skewer people. Is that what you were thinking? Grey Mage
If your doing the whole of the Halberd Id reccommend the thrust out chainsword arm from the SM Commander kit. The lance in MWs post is from the Brettonian Knights box. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209455-bitz-help/#findComment-2498847 Share on other sites
old git
The arm carrying the standard pole from the command squad set might work. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209455-bitz-help/#findComment-2498852 Share on other sites
SJumppanen
http://www.games-workshop.com/gws/catalog/...dId=prod810030a How's that would work? IIRC that torso used to be in sale separately, but now it seems that you would need to buy the whole set. Schertenleib
My scout has a halberd from WFB Empire. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209455-bitz-help/#findComment-2498953 Share on other sites
marine77
This guy has a wicked cool halberd and arm. You would need to add some hoses/wires to make it look more power weapon-y, but it is pretty slick. Check it out. jmurph
I have used alot of bare weapon arms for my TWC. The various marauder bits are very good for this. Also, beastmen spear arms work well. I usu. cover them all with a shoulder pad. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209455-bitz-help/#findComment-2499078 Share on other sites
Marshal Wilhelm
I just thought of the DA power-mace arm. It 'turns' the weapon into a power one, because it has those gadgets on the shaft. Lop off the head, cut the DA symbol off and replace with something wolfy. Then you can add whatever head and bottom of the shaft you want. If you wish to change the arms position, slice into the arm [where it would join into the torso] to whatever angle you want. Then cut the shoulder back [as it will stick out too far otherwise] You could have the arm going straight up, or straight ahead or even somewhat pointing to the ground. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209455-bitz-help/#findComment-2499218 Share on other sites
