First i´ve planned something like that with WHF Zombi parts and IG parts. But meanwhile i think the other color of the dead bodies would be only disturbing. @Loken86: Sure, i can give you a small tutorial. I used: 10 CSM backpacks (those with the pipes running on top the backpack) 5 Pre-Heresy Jumppacks 10 Wings At first i shorten the exhaust pipes, so that the backpacks looks like loyal SM backpacks. http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x120/DarkBjoern/DarkBjoerns%20Chaos/Night%20Lords/NightLordsHuntersWingsWIP01.jpg The next step was to cut the Jumppacks into pieces. All i needed had been the turbines themself. Also not sure, but teh teeth could stand being picked out in bleached bone or similar just to bring out a bit of definition Otehrwise sterling job - LOVE the jump packs! I had have the same idea about the Asurmen Blue. But there´re some small spots on the skin that needs to be reworked a bit. And you´re right about the teeth. That will be done in the final phase. Zeller Posted September 19, 2010 Share Posted September 19, 2010 The blade looks good but I'd be curious if a thraka wash would blend the three colors together and whether it would look better or not. The cloak is solid though the definition on the fur is lacking. Is the tabard done? It looks like the lines could be cleaned up a bit and the red made more solid around the outter edges of the tabard. First off, I think that you did a good job on the DP - although I agree that a thinned wash of Asurmen blue wouldn´t hurt. ;) Your conversions look ace, but you might want to try out your blue colourscheme on a prototype-model rather than on your Lord. I think the tone of blue fits the Night Lords perfectly - but your highlighting is a bit off. The white doesn´t blend in with the ice blue(just guessed what it could be) and that also doesn´t blend in with the regal blue(again, I´m guessing). Check out Dan the Deamon´s(sp?) threat about NL - he has a very nice colourscheme and the highlights are more subtle, thus the general appearance of the model is darker, which can only be fitting for Night Lords.
