I used Regal Blue, Enchanted Blue and SW Grey for the highlights but the pics had been made befor i added a layer of Asurmen Blue. One thing about that Lord though, if I may. The skull motif on his helm, I think it may look better of the pipes on either side of the 'teeth' were not also painted bone. Firepower Posted October 1, 2010 Share Posted October 1, 2010 Loving your painting method, the bold highlights on black base works wonders. My one concern is on the sorcerer. It is a very dynamic pose and full of malevolence, as it should be, but the robe seems a bit plain. Some of those mysterious vials/syringes you see hanging from Sorcerer belts all the time might break up the otherwise solid silhouette on the front (not sure if this is doable at this stage though, oh well). Or you could just try some freehand to break up the robe a bit. The back is just fine with all the doomy skulls swinging from chains in proper chaos fashion. The Landraider is a beast, but all those spikes could use some decoration. Maybe impale a Guardsmen or two on 'em, that's what they're for after all (in reference to both spikes and guardsmen ;) ). In my first planning for this army i thought about victims pinned at the tanks an so on, but meanwhile i think it would too disturbing for the overall look of the NL. Oh, and they´re not black.
