They came with no warning and killed the sector before they even registered it... Over 50 worlds and 20 billion souls lost before any help could arrive.... All that remains of the worlds are wastelands of ash and seas of blood.... All that remains of those poor people are valleys of the dead and the burning pyres.... Their screams still echo in the wind.... Their tears still fall in the ashes.... I'm actually a little worried now that if you use a stock DP without any additional greenstuffing or extra bits that the base might actually detract from the model. There will be a great deal of green stuff and other work done to the daemon prince however now that you mention this, I have to agree that this could serve to be a problem. I will look into this. Dan The Deamon Posted August 31, 2010 Share Posted August 31, 2010 elmers glue. Drip a whole bunch of elmers onto that base and around those bodies. When it dries it will recede further into the mass and base and really blend everything together a lot more. It can be painted as gore, mud, whatever. It may deal with some of the extra detail on the base by covering some of the potential busyness up. Edit: By whole bunch of glue, I mean a little bit in the recesses. Don't drown them. Dan The Deamon Posted August 31, 2010 Share Posted August 31, 2010 Dried elmers takes really well to wash and ink if you have a good basecoat on it already. here's some finished glue on my display board. mud, gore, it does well and blends everything together. I decided to go with the spike racks on the Dhar's back for a few reasons. 1. The spike racks looks bad ass on the prince and it portrays a nice grizzly feel. 2. The back pack vents were just silly 3. Among the heads (which suck) only the intended chaos marine daemon head even remotely stands as something worth using but its still just not even remotely what i want him to look like.
