WarpWalker
Hail Honored Brothers, I'm so excited to be bring you news of my blog. This blog is an expansion into the 41st millennium. All of which is fan based fluff, some fact and pictures of my painted miniatures. You all maybe wondering what chapter I have chosen. Well I can proudly tell you it's Angels Encarmine. Why did I pick this chapter out of all the prestigious chapters in the imperium? I happen to enjoy the battle doctrine, history and the unique characters that make up the Blood Angels space marine chapter. I decided on the Angels Encarmine because they were well known but without a history of their own. The only unique character mentioned in their chapter is Castellan Zargo. It is also common knowledge that they suffer greatly from the "black rage". The chapter's actual marine count is unknown. This leaves a large playing field for those gamers (like me) that enjoy writing fluff as well as fielding their army on the tabletop. My plans are to include all who read my blog in the progress of my army. From WIP to finish and onto the tabletop, smiting the enemies of the Emperor. I hope you all enjoy and feel free to post questions and comments related to our hobby. My first pic is an Assault marine w/jump pack and meltagun. He belongs to the 5th company, 8th squad. I wanted to finish a complete squad at first. But I had a real hard time at first getting the dark red the way I liked it. So I worked up a complete model first. Now I can work the rest of the squad like an assembly line. I hope it will workout quicker doing it this way. Thanks for reading. Terrahawk
Hi there! Â I like your painting style, very clean and crisp. I also prefer painting my BAs in a similar vein. Â That white DC member certainly looks very awesome, I think your DC will pop out nicely from the red of your army. ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209760-warpwalkers-blog/#findComment-2503394 Share on other sites

WarpWalker
Hello Everyone, I just wanted to post some pics of my progress. The DC are primed black and I've started dry brushing the models with fortress grey. The Assault squad has been primed black and air brushed merchite red. I just finished washing the details with flesh wash. I bases are painted about 70%. I'll finish them when the mini is done. WarpWalker
Hello all, It's been a bit since I've posted anything. I've been a little busy painting  and....other stuff. :( I've inked the assault marines and now they're ready for the top coat. The DC have two coats of white dry brushed on and are awaiting the last coat of thined white paint. The DC and Assault squad have all their non-armor parts colored in black. The next step is to add metal to the bolt pistols, bolters, chain blades and jump packs. Thanks for stopping by. :P J Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209760-warpwalkers-blog/#findComment-2520761 Share on other sites

WarpWalker
I wanted to post this because the other pics were too dark. The marine on the left has a coat of merchite red and blood red mix. Now just one more coat of blood red and it's done. The marine on the right has an ink wash only.
