caboosebe
As title said, this is my first attempt at greenstuffing something. It isn't much to begin with though. The models isn't finished yet, need to paint some more details and put shoulderpads on him. I think that the weapon I wanted to represent is pretty obvious from the pictures :). The chains are used from a Chaos Rhino sprue, but I needed to cut one side and glue it to the other to make it longer. So I used a chain from the Berzerker sprue (cut of the skull) and reattached the pointy blade/kunai. For the weapon itself, just made a round ball, let it dry, made some pointy ends, dry, glue. (had a lot of troubles with that last part getting glue on my fingers and when putting the pointy thingies on pulling them back off when letting go of them. C&C welcome ^^ Also would like to know how I can re-enforce the base of the weapon connected to the hand. I'm fear it will break off if handled a bit rough. http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/7850/imgp1238z.jpg http://img191.imageshack.us/img191/7747/imgp1243u.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209805-first-attempt-at-greenstuffing-by-caboose/ Share on other sites
Slyen
Honestly a lot better than what I can pull off. Only peeves are that weapon seems disproportionate to the berserker. Maybe this could be fixed by tilting it away from him farther, maybe shortening the chain too? The second and only other peeve is that the chain is straight. It should be slightly curved (I think in the opposite direction) if in motion. Otherwise it should be dragging along the ground, which might actually solve your support issue (by placing the ring around the hand rather than in it).
