Token
http://www.bork.sverok.net/cpg/albums/userpics/10002/landspeeder.jpg I have a land speeder with flamer and multi melta, this one has a multi melta so far, but i think i have bitz for that missile launcher thing. Is it any good to have diffirent types in the same pack? Or should the close range melta flamer speeder and the missile launcher(if i equipt that..) be in seperate packs? Wysten
Best to keep the same sort of weapon in each pack, otherwise your going to have crossed prioities. That being said, I don't really see the merit in having close ranged Land Speeders in packs, normally one melta/2 meltas is reliable enough, and once they dropped their shot, they will be dropped with harrowing firepower. Tornados could be surviable enough in packs though Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209875-arming-a-land-speeder/#findComment-2503630 Share on other sites
Marshal Wilhelm
L O L That is a classic mini. A+ As for the arming question and squadrons, as Wysten said, Typhoons can get away with it. MM HF are better off as singles. Don't mix n match. I might even steal this idea, since the representation it is very "Sky-clawy" Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209875-arming-a-land-speeder/#findComment-2504083 Share on other sites
Token
Thanks, he would probably fall of in midflight, but looks cool. I think i have a third speeder still in its box, might go with two missile launcher speeders then.. If this one gets missile launchers, should the other have an assaultcannon or heavy bolter? The heavy bolter has the range.. Not sure at what range they should be used. CainTheHunter
Actually, they both should get heavy bolters in addition to their missile launchers. So that they can maneuver into range unload their missiles from safe distance and next turn drive 6" and still fire two missiles (if necessary in frag mode) and pop three shots from heavy bolter as well. Marines have magnetic activation in various parts of their armour. Feet are one of those :tu: Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209875-arming-a-land-speeder/#findComment-2504475 Share on other sites
Firenze
Typhoon squadrons w/ Heavy Bolters and/or MM only tank hunters. Meltas work beautifully at wrecking armour in DS thile Typhoons pump out a massive amount of fire at low(ish) cost.
