Hi all,

Sorry if you have seen these before, but i have redone one side so he is now an angels sanguine libby. I still consider him a wip as i am trying to get a transfer to put on his black shoulder to spice it up a bit.

I don't think it would be all that practical to add a hood to that model, tho I don't think thats a biggy (I started in RT, power armoured hoods were a 2e thing, and even then they weren't mandatory) - but what he seriously needs is librarian iconography: rank emblem on his loin cloth and shoulderpad. I'd stick a book on the round belt-buckle plate and some lightning bolts on the chest plate and/or leg plates. Also if your any good with greenstuff try and make it so hes clutching a scroll in his fist.

Hey guys, thanks too all who commented and commended. some of the ideas were pretty interesting. like the hood book and scroll ideas. anyone know where to get libby looking books? someone mentioned dark angels pack a while ago?

As for the hood i was thinking of shaving a shoulder pad down and attaching it to this guys helmet with some small wiring and then maybe with some symbol on top of the shoulder pad/hood?

Thanks again,

Hey Mudpuppet,

your Librarian looks really good, especially the force sword is well done. <_<

I agree that he needs some books and scrolls all around his armour, and some cables here and there, he will look even more "special" than before. ;)

And although the paintjob is great, I feel that the blue is a little bit light, for a deeper colour and more shades I suggest some glazes with either purple or a darker shade of blue, or both. That will add depth to where it belongs and your highlights will pop out a little bit more without being too bright. :)
