paintner
I know what a MM is, but what is the two cylinders on each side of them on the vehicle MMs? sitting here painting up some MMs for speeders and LRCs and don't know how to paint these as I don't know what they are. is it powercells? stability mechanics? I painted them as the casings before but as I want to put some more effort into this new army I am thinking that if it's a powercell maybe it should be painted a bit brigther in some happy colour =) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209990-multimelta/ Share on other sites
Sharpsilver
melta weapons use highly pressurized pyrum-petrol gases with a two part injection system which forces the gases into a molecular state The two cylinders either side of the Multi-Melta contain the Pyrum-Petrol. Unlike on a Multi-Melta operated on foot, where the gases are held on the backpack of the user. Leonaides
They can be in glass if you want to paint it so... Apothecaries carry around glass vials in their belts, so I guess maybe some sort of armacrys tubes would be possible. (wouldnt want a stray round cokking it off early would you) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/209990-multimelta/#findComment-2504837 Share on other sites
