Some bad news guys

Some of you may have heard that a 7.1 earthquake hit New Zealand a couple of days ago and has completly ruined my hometown so I'm just going to inform everyone of the BA forum that I will be rather quiet around the boards due to I cannot get to any of my war gaming stuff . Don't you guys worry no deaths from the quake .

 

So I am sorry to Inform you all there will not be any progress of my work for at least 2-3 weeks.

Yeah I heard, was actually contemplating moving there after finishing my postgraduate studies. How often do quakes hit that area?

 

And how bad is the damage to your area?

We do not get quakes often and have been long over due for a big one .uhh my area was one of the worst effected due to we live right next to a river that runs right through the city my house is not damaged but there is no power/water/toilets and the city has given a rough estimate of around 2.5 billion in damages.

 

But I off to continue to help others who came off worse so yeah wish Christchurch luck.

Hey, good luck there mate, and I hope that your city get sorted out quickly. New Zealand have always been on the top of my list to immigrate to, and in 2 years I'll be there. christcurch being on the top of the list to live in.

damm dude its sounds like hell down there at the moment with all those aftershocks. i almost moved to churchur once....ended up in whangarei instead..we dont get quakes, just dancing taggers hahahaha.

Old wellington is where the quakes hit usually, it was expected that the next big one would hit here.
