Judaz
Ya, the examples of chaplain banners show a skeleton. But my freehand painting skills aren't quite up to that just yet. Anyone have an idea on how to make a good reclusiarch banner without having to paint a skeleton. Something a bit easier to paint? Judaz
Does company matter when I'm using a librarian and a reclusiarch? They are kinda outside the companies sp they shouldn't really carry company colours should they? But I'm playing the 4th coy Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/210496-heraldryiconography-workshop/page/2/#findComment-2530825 Share on other sites

Cpt. Salvatore
Ya, the examples of chaplain banners show a skeleton. But my freehand painting skills aren't quite up to that just yet. Anyone have an idea on how to make a good reclusiarch banner without having to paint a skeleton. Something a bit easier to paint? Try black banner with golden/yellow trim around the edges, red cross over the black banner, skull with 4th company marking on the forehead and under the skull, typical parchment with name of the Chaplain? Pretty simple to do and looks cool Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/210496-heraldryiconography-workshop/page/2/#findComment-2531356 Share on other sites
WarpWhisper
Maybe a large blood drop with a skull inside the lower part of the blood drop. For practical help, you might want to think about applying transfers as a guide, and painting over the top of them; like colouring in. I normally do that with all my transfers to cover the annoying sheen, and sometimes add extra details. (Just remember to varnish down the transfer first) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/210496-heraldryiconography-workshop/page/2/#findComment-2531567 Share on other sites
