yodaid764
I plan on using some of the chainblade attachments from the new Forgeworld weapon sets they did of the old style weapons from the RT era. Attach them to the venerable dread arms (one from FW) and it should look decent. SamaNagol
By the way. A few months ago I read in a threat that noone really knows what the talons of the DC dread in the codex were made of. I just asked the owner of the GW Store in Erfurt last week an he was pretty shure that those things are "old slave swords". I dont have a clue what this means since I only play 40k and only for about 1 year now - but maybe it helps... The Iconoclast
I've been thinking about maybe trying to use the lightning claws from chaos termies somehow. They're pretty big and bulky and talons are supposed to be like dread lightning claws anyway. At the very least I could scavenge the blades off of a set of those. SamaNagol
I can WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend Rabblerouser from Warseer. My claws arrived this week. They fit perfectly onto both FW and GW dreadnought arms and are of excellent quality. I'll take some fotos for you guys this week. Chaplain Gunzhard
I plan on using some of the chainblade attachments from the new Forgeworld weapon sets they did of the old style weapons from the RT era. Attach them to the venerable dread arms (one from FW) and it should look decent. That is pretty much what I did with the old RT era chain-bayonets... check it: http://mybattalion.com/community/1597-gunz...33#photoid=8542 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/210527-how-did-you-make-your-talons/page/2/#findComment-2527346 Share on other sites
