old git
Seeing as we can show off, here's the one and only pic available (at the mo') of my wolves at Toy Soldier at Preston University in July. Hope you like 'em. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_nIyr_JmCG-o/TE1J...00/DSC03153.JPG Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/210578-my-wolves-literallywell-not-real-wolves/ Share on other sites

Token
Good paintjob. The Thunderwolfs look really fierce. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/210578-my-wolves-literallywell-not-real-wolves/#findComment-2506957 Share on other sites
Max_Dammit
Love them, good to see some dandy wolves painted, but i must say, even though you did them justice, i feel there a bit big. old git
Nat : The only other tourney I've used them at is BritCon in August, were you there? Other than that they've only been to club nights. Max : I know what you mean, they're taller than a rhino and the bases are 65mm rather than 60mm but Personally I think they're the better models available just now. fandon
What kind of grey/mix are you using for your army? and those are some sick looking wolves, big but it just makes it look like they can take a lascannon shot without vaporizing into a puddle of goo. old git
The grey is Halfords grey spray primer (if you're not UK based, Halfords are a car accessories chain), washed with Badab black straight out of the pot then carefully drybrushed with Codex grey followed by a light drybrush of Astronomican grey. I'm not a fan of the powder blue armour favoured by GW. Yep, thats it. =D I wish I had been at a tourney in britan, but since I live in sweden that is kind of a nono. :ermm: - Natanael Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/210578-my-wolves-literallywell-not-real-wolves/#findComment-2507899 Share on other sites

TheReverend
man, it says in the codex those wolves can big as big as rhinos so the bigger the better :D but true, could be a problem with the LOS rules :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/210578-my-wolves-literallywell-not-real-wolves/#findComment-2508806 Share on other sites
