ForTheLion
Fellow Blood drinkers :P I have recently started playing a very awesome army...and im having a great time with it. However i have a question to ask you veterans. According to my understanding a deathcomany squad is stil subject to black rage even if the chaplain is in it? If not where does it say that int he codex?
Morollan
DC are always subject to Black Rage. The Chaplain no longer has any effect on that.
Dark Legionnare
It used to be that the Death Company had their own special version of rage, a rage that could be negated if you had a chaplain in the DC squad. Now, they have just the universal special rule, Rage, defined in the 40k 5th Edition Rulebook. A chaplain does not negate them moving towards enemies in the movement phase anymore. But, cheer up, it's not so bad, it can be a little nuisance sometimes, but more often than not, they move closer towards your intended target anyway. That and it's only in the movement phase they have to move closer, they can still pick their targets in the shooting and assault phases.

Jakobus
Thats a bugger, look at having a RAS sheppard your DC when they have units that can do stuff like that. I call them my can opener squad, so you can get to the gooey tasty things inside.
