Counter-attack

Here's a bit of a lengthy rules question.

Say I have three units locked in combat with an enemy unit and it is the second round of that combat. Then a second enemy unit assaults one of my units in combat. Do all three units of mine get to roll for counter attack or just true one assaulted? I think just the one assaulted but I wasn't sure. My opponent wondered if even the one assaulted gets to roll for counter attack since they were already in combat. I read from the codex it states whenever a uni is assaulted hey get to roll for CA since it doesn't specify that they must be previously unengaged in a combat.

If they were all locked in combat, then none get the Counter-Attack bonus. However, if they were out of combat, and all three were charged by the same unit (The World is imploding due to such impossibility) then they each get it, as long as none were locked in Combat
