Cpt. Tiberious Posted September 9, 2010 Share Posted September 9, 2010 My finished Storm Wardens purity seal. I made it out of Sculpey, and sketchbook paper. All in all, it took me around 2 hours to complete it, including sculpting and baking the clay, and paint work. have a look.... http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/rr7/SFE_PhoboS/IMAG0004.jpg (note to veiwer: the "S" in the word peace is supposed to be a "C", but the tail on the end to make it look like script got a little too long lol.) The seal itself was painted using Delta Ceramcoat red and black, mixing in varying degrees to get a highlight... http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/rr7/SFE_PhoboS/IMAG0005.jpg http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/rr7/SFE_PhoboS/IMAG0006.jpg The parchment was made out of perforated sketchbook paper that was wrinkled up, and then given a bath in tea. Yes, like Iced Tea LOL. Then after the writing was put on it, the edges were burned with a cigarette.... http://i464.photobucket.com/albums/rr7/SFE_PhoboS/IMAG0007.jpg The litanies on the parchment are as follows... 1st piece "O eternal Emperor, who alone watches us, and rules the tides and storms. Be compassionate to your servants, preserve us from the perils of the warp, that we may safeguard the domain of men. Let your wrath be our instrument to slay the wicked. So the stars may know peace." 2nd peice "Where there is uncertainty, I shall bring light. Where there is doubt, I shall sow faith. Where there is shame, I shall point atonement. Were there is rage, I shall show its course. My word in the soul, shall be as the bolter in my hand." Sorry if the picks are too big. Hope you guys like it. Take care until next time. And the Storm Warden symbol is probably as well, by Fanatsy Flight Games, I believe. Otherwise, I would buy one of GW made some just like this! Impressive work.
