SDarmy Posted September 13, 2010 Author Share Posted September 13, 2010 got the right arm and cc blade done. so far im just under 5 hrs. yah the right leg is a little jacked. the guy supplied the mini and decided to glue the feet on and a few other bits. its a huge superglue fingerprint i didnt see till after he was basecoated. if i have time i will go back and sand it down or maybe greenstuff an iron cross and chain or something over it. for the base colors im using a generic grey i bought from wal-mart along with chaos black and skull white. just doing diffrent mixtures . for the gold its a base of dwarf bronze then shining and brilliant golds with a touch of mithril. pretty simple recipies. its so hard not to get caught up in the mini. FWs stuff is just so nice but i have to keep on task and limit how much time i spend. so far its been pretty good goin. . REx and retinue are up next.
