Fist or hammer?

If you've got the points to spend, why wouldn't you? Thunderhammers are better (that's why they cost more). It's only an issue if you're going to have to lose something else inorder to take the hammers.

 

Although it could matter depending on how many hammers were talking here. Could you get something else for the points or are you just using up the last 10-15?

10 points. 15 i could use for another scout.

i would upgrade them to chainfists.

 

you get the S8 benefits of a pfist, and with 2d6 armor pen you almost always pen anything below 13 with bad rolls, and a good roll gets you the land raiders.

 

i use a single TH in my army, and that belongs to arjac.

No terminators exept the one in Long Fang pack. THs would go to Troop squads with PA WG.

 

Use that 15 for a Wulfen scout. If you have them as 5 scouts with a melta, then adding a wulfen would really increase their assault potential.

 

Typically I shoot pistols and my melta and assault. Having a Wulfen really helps.

I still think a wulfen is the way to go :lol:

I take it the WG already have Fists and Combi weapon, while the GH packs have Special weapon, Mark and Wolf Standard already?

 

TH would be nice for helping them hack down the big things that would otherwise eat through your squad in 2 turns and give you a fighting chance to damage/destroy it in the following round by dropping its I to 1.

 

It sounds like you don't really have anything else to spend points on so its either that or Meltabombs all round. Both are good, the Hammer is arguably more flexible as they've a use against both MC and Vehicles.
