Lars Skywolf
They changed the paint pots! They changed the bloody paint pots! They changed it to the see-through version of the foundation and ink pots! One thing i want to know is...why?! weren't the others fine? Or were people getting the plague from using the paint pots? Obliterator
One thing i want to know is...why?! My guess would be to lower the production cost by only needing one kind of pot for their entire range. Xeonic
My best guess? To save cost. If they only have to order 1 type of pot for most of their product they probably have a significant savings there. EDIT: I'm slow. Iron-Daemon Forge
The Gw old Black top pot where made by a company in France. The new once/foundation/wash style once are from a company base in China. On that note, one thing that annoyed me about the new pot lid for the standard range (not foundastion/wash). You will notice there is no tab on the back, to keep your lids open, like you would get on the Foundastion & Wash version when getting the painted out or like me who paint from the pots of paint. I preffer the older black lid once to be honsty. Jakobus
Honestly I like the new pots, well the new lid anyway. Its easier to find the colours I want from the box without me dabbing a spot on the lid. The only thing I have noted so far, and it may just be to one pot I've bought since the change, the lid doesn't sit open nicely like the previous ones. Solid Zaku
Um, I don't have a problem keeping the 'Foundation Type' bottles open. Just pull the lid back until the spine snaps into place, and it's pretty rigidly set at about a horizontal level.
