JamesI
The meltagun and Magnagrapple would hit simultaneously, so the grapple could not pull you into the 6 inch melta range.
juckto
Does a unit fire from it's position of it's guns, or from the base? Line of sight is measured from a model's eyes*. Range is measured from the base. Vehicles: Line of sight is measured from the gun mount. Range is measured from the gun mount. When determining whether a target is obscured, it is worked out the same way as a unit of infantry firing, where each weapon is treated as a seperate model in a unit**. * Note that this means, according to the rules, that if you convert a model to not have eyes (for whatever reason), then it can never shoot. ** This means it can be tactically useful to fire weapons that have no chance of wounding the target, if it means that more than 50% of your vehicle's weapons have a clear line of sight. How do you get that 3+ cover save with a vehicle for the odd angles? The firing unit is in the side arc of the vehicle, but because the Rhinos (or whatever) are parked so close, the only part of the target they can see is the front arc: http://i14.photobucket.com/albums/a329/juckto/Wh40k/Other/3pluscover.png When they are still alive, what are they counted as? What I mean is, are they Impassible Terrain, or just somehow gods that cannot be climbed / run over / dashed unless you are a skimmer or the like. Can you land on a Vehicle? I've never seen ANY rules to this at all. GlauG is COMPLETELY WRONG. You cannot move through friendly models. All models are effectively impassable terrain, even models in the same unit. pg 11 of the rulebook. What happens when a Dreadnought assaults into cover? Does he also suffer the initiative one? Yes. Unless he has offensive grenades. Which he doesn't.
