Drudge Dreadnought
Lamenters are a Blood Angels successor. They appear in the BA codex. However, they follow the Codex Astartes and somehow do not have the BA genetic flaw. But, as BA successors they should still have access to BA equipment like infernus pistols and faster Rhinos. So, what book is appropriate for them? It seems that if the Vanilla codex is used, then they don't have everything they should. And if BA codex is used, then they have too much. JamesI
I think Lamenters are best made with the regular marine codex. They are made with BA gene-seed, but are not suspetible to the flaw and probably don't have access to the fast vehicles anyway (they are a later founding chapter, no reason to think they have a significant connection to the Blood Angels or other Sanguinius based chapters) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/211048-lamenters/#findComment-2510798 Share on other sites
SnorriSnorrison
They also didn´t show up when aid was needed on Baal - but every other successor did. I agree with JamesI, the Lamenters are better represented by the regular SM dex, as they don´t suffer from the flaw(no red thirst, DC, DC Dreads, Astorath...etc.). After all its up to you, if you wish to play them with C:BA, go for it.
