MylesTheTroll
Does the -1 BS Lord of Tempests ability (or any for that matter in later turns) work if I drop pod in on the first turn even though it's not the very beginning of turn. Similar to Logan's High King ability. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/211205-lord-of-tempest/ Share on other sites
JMac
Thats a big negative on that one. Bummer, huh? In fact, it does nothing at all if you go second in the round because the rule specifically states your opponent gets -1 BS for the rest of the turn. So if you go second, your opponent has already shot this turn! CainTheHunter
Actually, I'd disadvise putting Njal in DP and droppiing down. That pretty much decreases his chances to survive until last turns, when his abilities become devastating. He'll only have either 8 PA bodies or 4 TDA bodies as ablative wounds. In my theoretical Wolfwing list he joins a unit of 10 WG in TDA and footslogs with them across the table, from cover to cover - or casting Stormcaller when appropriate. MylesTheTroll
That's what I thought. In that "synergies" thread this "tactic" is given, and I thought I'd ask if that was possible in another thread since most people won't make it past the wall of text. Thanks for the clarification.
