Fenrisian wolves, whats their base size?

As the title states, what is the proper base size 25mm or 40mm?

the onse that come with Canis so the dread size is mostly excepted, and in truth smaller would look silly on most wolves i'v seen.

You must be kidding. We are talkiing about Fen.wolves not thunder wolves here :).

I've seen them on cavalry and 40 mm (terminator) bases.

Cavalry bases *40mmx25mm* seems the right size to me- and explains the two spots in a transport rather well.

lol, sorry, yeah the square bike base is mostly used as the wolves of GW come with those, you could use the bike bases but there bigger if i remember correct so i wouldn't go that path.

The rounded biker bases are the equivalent of the square ones with a 25mm round cut in half and placed at either end, so not a big difference. Personally, I prefer them since all the other 40k bases are rounded now.

I think the 40mm Termi basaes seem best to me so far.

Is there room for opinion here? My understanding is that the gw models came with cavalry bases, so why would you not use that?

Technically it's still the square cavalry bases, since that's what the default model is supplied with. GW does need to update it, though.

I'm using the 40mm termie base. The bike base just looked way too big.

I greenstuffed some Warhounds of Chaos from Fantasy and stuck them on resin 40mm bases from Secret Weapon Miniatures they look great, I can post pics if you'd like this weekend.
