Equipment images

Hi all,

 

First of all - I've read the copyright/IP stuff under the board rules and am not sure if the following request will be deemed "fair use" or not, so mods, feel free to step in and shut this down if it's inappropriate.

 

I'm looking for a digital copy of the equipment images from p101 of the SM Codex for use in the Deathwatch RPG (to use on equipment cards for my gaming group, so this will be a "personal use only" type project). There are a fair few images online (e.g. Lexicanum) but not many of this style, i.e. the schematic/line drawing type. I don't have a scanner or photocopier, so does anyone know where I could get these images or some of a similar style online?

See, I think the problem you will run into is that while using a copier or scanner to make your own copies from your own Codex of these images for person use could definately fall under fair use exception to copyright, for someone else to scan them onto the internet (and thus be available to anyone for any reason) very probably doesn't.

 

However, even if you personally don't have a scanner copier its not usually too hard to access them. Copy shops, libraries, and university labs normally have public access, though rates can vary from reasonable to rediculous.

If your local library has a photocopier, then there's the solution for you.
