Token
Wolfpelts, tails and teeth, those are trophies won from hunting and such, right? A servitor wouldn't have them? Could there be free fenrisians (or whatever planet the marines are at) who are bondsmen, like those written about flying the Space Wolf star ships, be a cyborg helper for the iron priests? Could that "servitor" then go out hunting? What about protective runes, could a iron priest equip his servitors with those? http://www.bork.sverok.net/cpg/albums/userpics/10002/servitorbigarm.jpg I like plastic minis better then metall, so am trying to make my own out of plastic. This ones arm is huge, to big? I have used a marauder body for this one, is catachan better? sizewise.. stinkenheim
Don't forget some are failed aspirants, they may not have accepted the final part of the Geneseed, or their bodies may have rejected the implants later on down the line. It could be from a kill they made during their training (as in before they got their first implants). Some could simply be a mark of thir allegance to a certain IP, almost like brands on cattle. It could be that they defended the body of a fallen IP/SW who had died and in honour of their loyalty were rewarded wth some token/pelt/trophy etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/211514-space-wolf-servitors/#findComment-2516290 Share on other sites
TheReverend
If I'm a three hundred year old iron priest and I've run out of space on my own armour for my trophies, I'd certainly be using my servitors as walking trophy racks :P All the more to boast about at the feast table! Token
bump.. I might put a bionic leg on this model, would a biconic leg "need" four hydracil thingies to be able to move it in all directions, or how would it work? stinkenheim
do whatever looks cool... the more details you put on the bulkier and more unwieldy it starts to look. Keep it streamlined and if anyone asks the 'missing' parts are simply encased in the main part of the limb Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/211514-space-wolf-servitors/#findComment-2517102 Share on other sites
