My chapter WIP fluff help.

[The Harrowmaster]

First off my original idea was to do an entire Deathwatch army. however i like to keep my armies fairly close to the fluff.

 

Iron Fist Brotherhood. I Would like the chapter to have started off as a codex chapter.

 

My idea is that an early time in the chapters history the chapter encountered symbiotic alien race ((invasion of the body snatchers)).

And the chapter is plunged into civil war fighting fallen/brainwashed/controlled brothers.

 

Then an ordo xeno inquisitor investigating the said aliens comes across the chapter trying to clean up the mess from the civil war and fanaticly

hunting the same aliens and there host bodies in many forms human and xeno.

 

so the Inquisitor enlists the help the of the chapter for mutual benefit. (and I get to included plenty of deathwatch!)

 

 

so as i said the chapter will have been mostly a codex chapter. I want them to now be about half strength and functioning like the Ravenwing dark angels

(not on bikes or any of that but just hunting down the aliens that took half there chapter.)

 

ok so help I need with

 

Is this viable??

Primarch??

home world or region of space.

 

are the aliens viable? where will they come from? any name ideas?

 

and My inquistitor is going to include lots of deathwatch. My thoughts are this race is fairly small but dangerous, and the ordo are trying to stop it before it gets to big.

 

Should the deathwatch know the chapter has had contact with these aliens, (the wrong kind) corrupt?

 

i do intend on writing a proper back storey soon. just want help with the planning

Hmm, yes it is. The Subjugators Chapter encountered Cell-kin or something like that.

Thanks mate. Gonna start cracking on with a back storey. I'm gonna change the name though, I didn't realise there was a chapter with a similar name. (Very similar).

Not to bothered about the name. More intrested in heavy ordo xenos links so I can included plenty of deathwatch((sternguard.)) And inquisitors and assasin all that good stuff.

I like the idea! I would make them fleet-based now, so they can chase down those filthy Xenos easier. Primarch isn't super-important, but maybe stick with one of the "vanilla" ones (your boys don't need to deal with weird mutations and alien possession).
