They look fine to me.

I like to paint the rim of the base. I chose Graveyard Earth, which happens to be what they used in C:SW.

If you can by your modelling products from a model train store, you'll get much, much more than if you bought GW. Don't worry if you already have bought GW stuff ~ I have to, and changed subsequently.

Another cheap alternative is baking soda/bicarbonate soda. You could probably pick some up from a grocery store, or Costco/equivalent wholesale foods store. I prefer baking soda to snow flock just because there's a slight sparkle to it, much like real snow and it dries rock solid when you mix some with PVA glue and water.

I use a very peculiar method to achieve dirty snow bases. If you're familiar with hookahs, the coals used turn into a very very fine ash when burned. I cover the base in glue and dip the base in the ash. Let it settle for a few minutes and then 'wash' it with very diluted PVA - about 1:4 glue to water. It produces a slightly flatter base but the model doesn't look like its sinking into its surroundings. This has been the cheapest way to base my Wolves, simply because I already use the coals to smoke from my hookah! Win win, I guess.

The "Snow" is baking soda. the one on the left is just glue then dip the one on the right is mixed baking soda with water making a paste. The baking soda worked out better than i thought. Now to get the hang of static grass ha ha ha

I am def. familiar with hookahs and thats a great tip I will try that got plenty of charcoal here.

Yep, model train stores are a must for buying modeling tools and certain scenery supplies. Cheaper too.

Is the fully completed one done with Blue tiger camo on it's gun?

yeah I was painting and my son wanted me to do blue tiger camo and since it was just a AOBR practice one to learn how to paint I went ahead and tried it out.
