Forgefather Vulkan
Hey. Well I'm going to start a Iron Fists army as my blood angles are almost done. But there's one problem, there's hardly anything at all on them, except the name of the Chapter Master which is Verchen, there colour scheme and the fact that they have medieval gauntlets moulded to their storm shields. So I was thinking if we could do a fluff up on them until GW brings something out on them. So all thoughts welcome, we've got a lot to do! To start off I like the idea of that feast of blades thing... Where the champions fight each other. Chaos1976
I wouldn't bother wasting time and considerable effort creating fluff for a chapter that is pretty much guaranteed to change. Grey Mage
Psh. What drivel, its not wasted time- GW will probly never expand on them, like they dont with 98% of their chapters. So, your figuring on them being imperial fist successors? What founding? Seconded. Though to be honest I'd rather more interested in seeing a non-Dornian fist-related chapter since they're all starting to blend into one, homogeneous whole now. They're all so freakishly similar. It's not that there are so many of them, more that a lot of DIY's with Dorns seed have used the 'fist' moniker and that when you think of Dorns successors, two out of the most well known three are fists too. It may be a misconstrued stereotype but it's there nonetheless. Forgefather Vulkan
Well I'm not sure on what gene seed they could be as dornian would be the obvious choice but I'd like to steer clear of that, possibly iron hands? For a founding I was thinking 19th. Forgefather Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/211715-iron-fists-fluff-up/#findComment-2519479 Share on other sites

Forgefather Vulkan
Ok then let's get down to business then. I think iron hands are a good gene seed to go for, so what do you guys think they should be like? I'd like s medieval theme to run through them as it'd linkbon nicely with the guantlet storm shield thing they have. By the way please give some paint scheme ideas of you can as I tried a scheme that used chainmail then a blue wash then a layer of chainmail and subsequent badab black washes and it doesn't look right. Grey Hunter Ydalir
Now hold your horses a second here friend. To quote Telveryon, who's exact quote is in my sig: I'll be as blunt as I can on this statement. It is not his or our job to work on your chapter, that's your job. The Liber is quality control, not the assembly line. The Liber isn't here to build the chapter for you, that's your task. We can provide help, suggestions and ideas we think might improve your work in some way, but then that's our position. If this is a group chapter then that's different. If not, then you need to lay some serious groundwork here. Forgefather Vulkan
Sorry I didn't really make this clear mate, I would like it to be a group chapter (which I'll put in the name of this topic) as I think we'll achieve something nicer if we pull together Forgefather Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/211715-iron-fists-fluff-up/#findComment-2519980 Share on other sites

Why not do it on your own though? It's great to see something you thought of finished by you. :D Ludovic Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/211715-iron-fists-fluff-up/#findComment-2519987 Share on other sites
