Brother Captain Ed Posted September 22, 2010 Share Posted September 22, 2010 I had always just kinda assumed that terminators could ride in a drop pod, but reviewing the entries in the SM Codex, that does not seem to be true. Only the unit for which it's bought may start in reserve in a dedicated transport. And no unit with terminator armor has the drop pod as a dedicated transport option. Now in C:SW, Wolf Guard have droppods as dedicated transports and can take terminator armor. Their only restriction is that they count as two models against transport capacity, so 5 Wolf Guard in termiantor armor could reserve in their drop pod. BearersOfSalvation Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 The only dedicated transport option for terminators is a land raider, the only way to buy a drop pod is as a dedicated transport, the only way to ride in a drop pod is during deployment, and at deployment only an IC or the unit a transport was bought for can ride in it.
