tiny sam Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 ressently I did some space marines for my brother's army and when my girlfriend saw that she asked : "why are you making model for your brother and not for me". I answered "cuz you play chaos darling". long story short, I ended up converting and painting a word bearer Dark Apostle. In my very self I always been a die hard loyalist and I tried to focus on the fact that the word bearer were once the most faithfull of them all. I chose to represent this by doing a split scheme loyal/heretic my problem is in fact the huge Chaos symbole on his back pack. what should I do with it, I find it a little plain... tiny sam Posted September 24, 2010 Author Share Posted September 24, 2010 I don't think I should use NMM since the model itself is made with metalics. maybe youre right about the paint I need some color in this. so gems, paint the inner part of the arrows? wich color black, red, both? other colors? Sgt. Blank Posted September 24, 2010 Share Posted September 24, 2010 You could use either black or red on the "middle" eight pointed star to get a bit of contrast there. Not sure if that description makes sense, I mean painting the star which touches the outer ring a different color from the raised part on top of it.
