Hi all! It's wonderful to be amongst wolfy bretheren!

 

My local shop is having character deathmatches in which each player creates a character to fight other characters one on one... You get an HQ or Elite for 100 points or under, and can add up to 100 points of wargear. You start 12 inches apart with a single obstacle in the center. I'm entering the Wolf Lord of my Gaelic themed Wolf army. Other entries are Crons, Blood Angels, Thousand Sons, World Eaters, Grey Knights, Ultramarines, and Dark Eldar. He needs to be versatile. This is what I've got so far (and I don't know rules about point costs in posts so I'm not showing any...)

-Wolf Tooth Necklace

-Wolf Tail Talisman

-Frag and Krak Grenades

 

I'm a few points shy... anything worth adding or changing for a more versatile character? Thanks in advance Brothers!

cant remember point difference 5 i think you can switch the bolter and belt for a storm shield 3+ inv vs 4+ but you lose range attack.

a storm bolter is 3 points or you could always go combi melta or straight melta nothing like a 12 inch instakill.

 

SAGA of the Bear if you can afford it

I'd do a wolf claw, saga of the bear, stormshield, runic armor, and fill in with the rest.

 

This gives you a:

 

Str 4, T4, 2+/3++ save, immune to insta-gibbing, reroll hits or wounds beast.
