BLACK BLΠFLY
All this mention of gold reminds what a pimp chapter we are. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/211969-flesh-tearers-honour-guard/page/2/#findComment-2525008 Share on other sites
spanko101
My Flesh Tearers are painted in the same way as Blood Angels (apart from the should-pads and helmets). I use watered down yellow as a final highlight on the red armour, which makes my marines look demonic. This makes them look alot brighter than the standard issue dark-red armour everyone paints. My models have a red/ orange hue to them, which makes them very unique compared to most Flesh Tearer armies; Dark and brooding, versus bright and demonic = both look aggressive. ANYWAY, my point being - uniformity is the key to making any army look good - REGARDLESS of colour scheme. I use gold in all my special troops as this brings out 'importance'. If you don't really care if certain units stand out - then don't bother adding 'different' details.
