Sgt.Rob Posted September 26, 2010 Share Posted September 26, 2010 I started a post about this i think a while ago but i couldn't find it..been a while tho this is my WIP 1750 space wolf army, some of the models like the hq and scouts are pretty much finished the third picture has a small pack of wolves i run sense i took the wolf lord out of the razorback and in with a pack of Grey hunters. I was putting him with the tech priest and servators you'll see below. theres also 3 wolf guard with combi meltas, kind of a suicide squad but fluf wise i call them the last of their GH squad seeking glory and indoctrination into the wolf guard. I drop POD em in my first turn and if they last till turn two they have a meltabomb between them to cause a little extra havoc. Wolf Scouts with a twin lightning claw WG. for the low low price of 30 points i can put an extra two power weapons worth of cheese on the squad. The wolf lord has Runic armor, belt of russ and a frost blade pluss a puppy the grey hunters using the two handed weapons (the pouncing axe man and the Lucas conversion{wolf guard}) are packing MOTW or a power weapon, depending on what im playing against. below is the rune priest in runic armor with 8 grey gunters one of witch has a plasmagun and a wolf guard (needed 8 in the army) the guy out the hatch of the rhino has the metal demon hunter double eagle to remind me the rune priest has a chooser of the slain The last grey hunter squad got promoted from sky claws, this came about because i have the suicide squad in a DP already which means i could take another squad in a DP and hold it in reserve. the Sky claws rolled around with a wolf priest and a power fist basically I *strategically used them to take on the biggest thing on the field, but they're not troops and the wolf guard being restricted form the unit made it hard to make them worth the points. unfortunatly i lost allot of blood claws to concentrated fire... I still need to fill that monster hunting roll so now there with a wolf guard with a TH and Combi Melta, the army is kitted at 1,750 so for larger games he'll count as Arjac, there is a Banner, Power fist, MOTW a melta in there too. Barek, the vindi has the sides and tread from a chimera I had sitting around oh and the seidge shield too... Most of the Color selection was instired by the illistration on the codex, THE ART IS INCREDABLE! does any one know the name of the guy who painted it? Sgt.Rob Posted November 4, 2010 Author Share Posted November 4, 2010 this bad mother is my ARjackr ok somthing wierd is gouing on with this i can delete or go backspaceing any watway i like n big two handed skiull crushers i tried to supliment the stoms shield by putting the servo skulls on his back the concept it s that of a monsterous deamon hith a cannon hand shot a hole oin his brothers vindicator killing him instantly . after pulling his brothers chared remains from the tank he exacts his revenge by tearing off the deamons arm and shoving it down its throught then taking its weapon making a vow that he would never let it lie untill every threught to man kind was stricken from his sight. or somthing like it and for the same squad this guy packin the mark of the wolfin or power weapon [/url and the totem With a melta gun all these are barely out of the conversion stage but need to keep motervated lots of little men to paint Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
