Chrace lions?

I couldnt find this in the forum history so ill ask,

Are the lions from the high elf chariots viable as thunderwolves? They look like they may be too small, but the could easily be converted with GS to look like wolves. thanks.

fast answer is yes, they are. takes a bit of work though.

I did see on BoLS that during Games day UK there was some talk of GW or FW doing Thunderwolves. When I don't know :P

Thanks for all the replies, not sure ill go for it though as te models are pretty small and marines look kinda silly riding them. Though Ill have the chance to buy 4 of them this weekend and ill get a real look at there size. thanks.
