Rhodric
So I've been itching to add a Death Company Dreadnought to my Blood Angels force for some time. The Forge World Chaplain Dreadnought seemed like the perfect fit. My painting skills are so-so and I wanted to make sure this model received the attention it deserved. I enlisted the help of Miniature Painters (http://www.miniaturepainters.com) based out of Poland. I've commissioned a few smaller models from them in the past and was very familiar with the quality of their work. Well they really out did themselves this time. I just can't get over how beautiful this model is!!! Thanks for looking. I just really had to share this with my fellow Blood Angels friends here. lunchb0x
now pics are loading....very nice, but i hope you didnt pay more then 30 bucks for that paint job. No drilled guns, basic highlights and shadows...only what...2 colour maybe 3 colour staging. Iacton Qruze
Everything else looks nice, but the black really leaves something to be desired, and like lunch b0x said with the gun barrels. Hopefully you didn't pay too much. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212299-my-death-company-dreadnought/#findComment-2525234 Share on other sites
Rhodric
I think what I paid was very reasonable. I agree about the gun barrels, but that's my fault, I didn't request it. The original order was for a lesser quality paint job. They upped it a bit because of delays, so it's really not a true "Heavy Metal Quality" job. The picture I posted isn't allowing you to zoom in more for some reason. More details can be seen on the picture I wanted to post. Glad you guys like it. It's a heck of a lot better than what I could do. lunchb0x
No matter what I say or anyone else says... if you like it, my friend that is all that matters! :P ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212299-my-death-company-dreadnought/#findComment-2525305 Share on other sites
Crynn
It's pretty nice gun barrels aside, they could have at least painted them on but that heavy flamer looks too out of place and would also impare the dreadnaughts ability to use it's close combat weapon. All up a nice model though Regards Crynn Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212299-my-death-company-dreadnought/#findComment-2525464 Share on other sites
BLACK BLΠFLY
Very nice. The paint job is quite striking to say the least. Very well done! :) 0b :D Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212299-my-death-company-dreadnought/#findComment-2525814 Share on other sites
