traxter
I have a 2k all jump list and currently use the sanguinor with good success but was curious to see who has tried both in similar lists and what the outcome was. Did you miss the sanguinors bonus attacks or not. Did dantes -1 do more than sang's +1. And similar comparisons. Not to mention the points differential. Discuss please. Thanks all
Chaplain Gunzhard
My vote would be for Dante... he is a better value and just as fun to field (imo). I only use either at 1850+ though. Fielding Dante also gives me an excuse to use the Sanguinary Guard (as troops!) which I also love.
Deschenus Maximus
Dante is more bang for your buck, imo. Maybe if Sangui's buff wasn't random...
BLACK BLΠFLY
I prefer to field them both. If it were one or the other I'd take Dante. 0b ;)

Never mind I found something called master of hosts, awesome I guess I've always over looked that.
tednificent
I actually just bought Dante and the Sang guard, gonna get to play with them this Sunday and needless to say I am pretty excited. My vote is for Dante. No scatter will be nice with a few infernus pistols.
Chaplain Gunzhard
I'd say unless you facing some demolisher/battle-cannons you are better off starting with these guys on the board. Give em a Priest and they will shrug off soo much firepower that your opponent will get very desperate.
Brother Molon Labe
Another vote for Dante. He really brings alot he is a beast in CC. Also if you throw him with a SG unit with banner and a SP they will mow through just about any unit. Death mask is okay but to me it is just a nice to have not a must have item. Now his Axe that he is swinging that is a must have.
lorider2
I like Dante, especially for the scatter and sang guard as mentioned. But if they were the same points I would reconsider.
Brother_Dan'l
I also prefer Dante. The Sanguinor is cute, but he's also a single model unit and it doesn't take long for most folks to realize what that means. Dante causes damage to the enemy before the game even begins and with his Surgical Strike and Tactical Precision (Am I the only one who thinks they got the descriptions mixed up on those) rules you can attack exactly who you want and if you get caught by the wrong enemy you just leave. In my opinion he's at his best in a full size RAS/VAS with a Sanguinary Priest. While the Chapter Banner's +1A is tempting, the Sanguinary Guard is too small to let you effectively live thru multiple combats. Now if you attached Astorath and a couple of jump packed Sanguinary Priests with power CCWs to the unit that'd be a horse of an entirely different color. ;)
