Cpt. Salvatore
Greetings brothers. I am making a scenic bases for my BA's and they feature a whole heap of guardsmen stuff. But, the problem is: What colour scheme for the guardsmen and their leftover equipment that is being stood upon by my battle brothers? Colour scheme used so far and fluff background present for sparking ideas and good colour matches. Paint scheme: Blood red marines with black trimming and details, codex grey bases, heavy black drybrush on the grey Fluff: The bases are to represent an Imperial city wich was raided by eldar who slaughtered local PDF guard and so Angels came to the rescue! The eldar are Alaitoc or Ilyaden (dunno wich one, blue/yellow guys, pointy ears, you know them). What colours for the PDF would match that scene? Thanks for ideas! Judaz
Make 'em orange, then you have a colour from each part of the colour circle :wallbash:
Brother Nathan
Green camo would be good, though if its urban would make them look silly (no wonder they are dead then..) in urban... Maby a navy blue could work, but i would then go for yellow eldar... just do it a differentyellow to your assault marines helms...

Yeah, already figured that probably only possible chance would be the camo green, no matter how disappointed I am with it. Common Cadian scheme here we go! Kinzel
Maybe try 1 of those high contrast modern urban camo schemes? Black, white, grey and hint of brown or green. Would blend more with your darker urban bases (as good camo ;p) and wouldn't detract from the brighter colours of your main army and opfor. Then maybe just dirty up the camo on the base to tone it down while making it look like they've been there for a while. *edit* oo post 101 ;)
