I'm not happy with it (as usual) but don't think I'll have much of a chane getting it better without redoing the whole thing. Will get pics up in the HoH thread soon. I was able to finish up the highlights and assembly of the model tonight leaving me with the base (general painting and flocking) and the banner. This guy is nearly done, tomorrow afternoon I'll be painting his banner which will probably take all afternoon to finish up. I'm in particular blown away by the highlighting of the black on the leg armour, smooth gradient highlight of grey and really sharp edge highlights. Probably going to do a little more to the backpack (vents, skull etc). Honestly though, beyond doing that, adding the symbols and basing it, I don't think there is really much more I can do before it comes down to me messing it up trying to do things like highlights (it has been washed though for shading, but the light is mean). :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I just got a little more work left one mine, but my major issue is simply the inability to post pictures. I have no idea where my camera is currently and I'm heading out of the country for the rest of the weekend. If Tutteman wants the mini when this is all over, I can send it to him once I get back. I realized too late of course that I had left all of my paintbrushes at University, and here at home I only have these really thick ones, so it has been quite difficult. If I can't manage to finish it by midnight tonight (East Africa time), well, consider me failed. However, I'll definitely try. EDIT: Wait, the deadline is in February?
