Nurgle Lord

Recommended Posts

i got a nice box full of csm bits from my friend who gave up on his chaos army to work on his orks so i thought i'd give nurgle stuff a try again. since i cant really model that well with greenstuff i just kept him skinny instead of bloated. i'd like to get some ideas for what i can improve on him. im also not really what to do for the base, so i just put him on a random base i made until i can find a better substitute for it. C&C are appreciated

Is he a fan of Bleach? Because that sword is as big as he is  All jokes aside, I think the non-bloaty lord is an interesting idea. Just because he isn't bloated with decomposition gasses doesn't mean he isn't heavily infected, or maybe he is on his way to earning more gifts and has very few at the moment?

@11th Company Dark Master: haha, im not sure you can get anime in the 40k universe. i just imagine all nurgle champions/lords have huge weapons, so its just a personal thing i guess. maybe this should be a nurgle champion instead of a nurgle lord? hmm, i should rethink this...

@Beezy: thanks, i'd make the nurgle all dirty and disgusting but my painting skills aren't that good so i had to find other ways to make it seem nurgley.

@Hiro_Protagonist: thanks, im happy that you think he looks powerful enough

@musliisafish: thanks, i was going to make the sword arm pointing down but i wanted chains on the arm and the black templar sprues didnt have anything that could make it work so i just left it like that.

@Captain Mick: thanks, i think ive improved since the last time i tried to paint nurgle. btw i love your nurgle stuff, lots of good conversions.
