Some WIP pics

Ok so here are some more pictures of my Word Bearers to spice things up a bit:

Here is my converted deamon prince, the Ascended Dark Apostol of the Word Bearers, with his Jetback(wings) and his Accursed Crozius, because of the nature of the word bearers he can be fitted with any mark depending on the list that I am running at any time:

And here are his personal champions, the terminators. I have tried to make them each unique in their own way and useful in any battlefield role, Autocannon/PW, Combi flamer/chainfist, combimelta/PW and bolter/powerfist. They are a great unit that performs well on the battlefield and can cause a headache to any enemy who is not careful.

And then there is the picture of my test model, the aspiring champion for my first CSM squad that is armed with a power weapon. The paint scheme is rough, but then again, so are the battle hardened chaos marines of the old legions!

Man, that is some mighty fine work! I am LOVING the DP, what's the crozius made from? Would it possible to get a clearer shot of the face?

Terminators are looking good, helluva lot more dynamic than my own, want to some paint on those :huh:

The paint scheme is well executed too! Looks like the skulls on the backpack might need a little tidying up, but otherwise I can't fault it really.

Another angle- the acursed crozius is from a brazier from one of the fantasy kits, I think its from the mannor house.

Its hard to see the detail on the face... but here is another angle. Thanks for the comments! I know the scheme is rough. But it was quick and dirty to do and thats the idea. Um, the face has no horns. and then i use a defiler faceplate as a helmet, it actually looks pretty sick, but I seem to have misplaced the faceplate, it was only bluetac-ed on... so oh well.
