JetfireUK
Hi Folks, I'm still enjoying building up my small army of Ultramarines. My latest additions are this small squad of five Assault Marines which I've really enjoyed assembling ad painting. Out of all the models in the Space Marine arsenal, these plus the Terminators are my favourites. I've adapted my paint scheme slightly by using an 80/20 ratio of Chaos Black and Regal Blue in the recesses and brightened the edge highlights by going right up to Space Wolves Grey. Hopefully these figures 'pop' more than my previous efforts. Anyway, enough chat - what do you think? http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/JetfireUK/SL271645.jpg

Isiah
Yes they pop. Very cleanly painted and a well put together unit. Could do with a bit of 'roughing up' maybe ... just a bit :P Cheers I

ShinyRhino
Nice work. All beakies, all the time! The only thing that bothers me about them is the combination of the beakie helm on the sergeant, combined with the Champion pads and the strapped torso...makes him look a little disproportional. It's probably just the camera angle, though.
Shaun Carlin
Oh very nice and I like the Checkers on the packs It reminds of the old models
dijital_llama
yeah the different panels of armour really stand out. and like Shiny loving the beakies. and the bases. all you need now are some old-skool yellow stripes on the chainswords to go with the checkers! tiny sam
Nice work. All beakies, all the time! It's in case they drop there weapons, this way they can continue the fight with there pointy nose.
JetfireUK
Hi Folks, I had a few spares and bits from trades that I thought to assemble into marines. Here are four of the five Marines assembled - two Tactical Marines and two Assault Marines. I have a third Assault Marine that should hopefully be finished tomorrow. What do you think? http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y104/JetfireUK/SL271648.jpg
