Brother Nathan
yep they do wor wonders. with the pdf therewas barely a list without them. so yea they are good. good movement and are effictive antitank units. and can even help out your charges. only thing for that listi would sugest a piest or 2 to increase the survivability of the assault squads..., butthat army will be running at high points anyway...) Wildfire
Multi-melta attack bikes are possibly the best antitank available to a marine list. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212895-multi-melta-attack-bikes/#findComment-2532928 Share on other sites
Redo
If you can spare the points 2 or especially 3 MM Attack bikes can work wonders and create a highly mobile, effective and rather durable anti-tank unit. (On the other hand I am not so keen on HB Attack bikes.) Midnightmare
Based on my limited experience (in small games) I would say yes, MM Bikes are excellent at tank hunting. I run two, but am thinking of adding a third, or maybe adding a priest on a bike to roll with them or break off to where he is needed. Israfel
MM AB's are excellent tank hunters, they have never ever disappointed me. Be aware that they are also decent against isolated MSU's. If you have the point you may consider adding a third MM w. HB to increase their anti-personnel capacity and survivability. Grey Mage
Multi-melta attack bikes are possibly the best antitank available to a marine list. Agreed. The FA slots in a BA force are a bit stretched, but MM bikes are definitely a strong contender. Yeah, but after testing out all the other stuff, I'm running 2x2 MM attack bikes and a Typhoon almost every game for my FA. The attack bikes are just the best way to deal with Land Raiders we have. SamaNagol
Attack bikes in a mech list are invaluable. They act like outriders for your tanks removing the enemy's armoured targets Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212895-multi-melta-attack-bikes/#findComment-2533216 Share on other sites

Hey Lucius, Not on topic as such but i wanted to ask oyu about the devs? why are they there? It seems like a really good fast list, and then the devs dont really fit that idiom at all. Im not saying dont take em as i have no experiance with em at all, im just curious why? What are they there to do in your list? lorider2
I'm guessing for popping light/med transports so the RAS can feast on the innards. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212895-multi-melta-attack-bikes/#findComment-2533310 Share on other sites
Brother-Captain Lucius
lorider got it there. They are fire support for the RAS as they move up and have been some of my best units taking out Trygons and Land Raiders alike. And thanks for the replies on the Bikes I'm gonna be trying 2 of them out in the above list this weekend against a half mech Space-wolf list and a mech Berzerker list. ant1clock
Now I know why I hate reading this forum. Now I've gotta go and get myself some attack bikes. To be honest I was thinking about some Attack Bikes as I play against a Space Puppy who regularly takes two LR. To counter this my one horse trick so far has been to Drop Pod in a MM Dread first turn to try and take out one of the LRs. I also have a 5 man sterguard with combi meltas and meltaguns to take out other bits of armour and these have proved OK so far. Both of these plays cost more than the attack bikes and this could be a cheaper option. Would you have the bikes as a squad or would you have them as seperate units. @Brother Captain, Let us know how you get on with the Attack Bikes. ant1clock Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212895-multi-melta-attack-bikes/#findComment-2533510 Share on other sites
Brother-Captain Lucius
the 2 will probably be running as a squad because in my Local there's not many twin Land raider lists so i dont need two squads. I shall keep you informed on how they play out. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212895-multi-melta-attack-bikes/#findComment-2533526 Share on other sites
SamaNagol
In my 1500pt list I have 2 Vindicators and 3 MM Attack Bikes. And 2 TLAC Razorbacks. I like seeing lots of armour. bulley
I have been thinking about adding x2 melta attack bikes to my 750 army over a no sponson baal. The 750 tourney I have coming up I am expecting a lot of dreads, not all that much mech (except 1 guys double falcon/wave serpent mechdar) and was thinking x2 meltas could help support my x3 razors quite nicely, also we are playing on a small board, so the movement of a bike could be much greater than the baal - though i loved the baal in the test games for screening my razors with its front 13 armor.
