Long_Feng Posted November 1, 2010 Author Share Posted November 1, 2010 so, a bit more emperor's children. A rhino for a squad. It is an extreme speedpaint on a totelly wasted rhino. I bought it really cheap, crappily assembled with som weird extra bits and leaks of glue every here and there, sprayed with some silver nitro paint. I had no time, neither I had any intention to paint it well, so I just smoothed the glue leaks, ripped away extra parts, drilled and cutted bullet holes, sprayed it right over the previos spray with some cheap matt black paint, drybrushed and made some simple freehand on top. And yeh, a dusty caterpillars and lower armor of course!!!It took me 4 hours to complete it (2 for preparing 0.5 hour for spraying and drying, 1.5 painting) and I'm pleased with the result. I think it's a descent tabletop rhino. sadly I didn't take a shot of what it looked like when I got it, so amount of work is not visible clearly.and yeh, the flash made some surfaces look like "ovredrybrushed". In reality it looks cleaner.But still. I dont like stuff on my "side" part of the bases - except that. I might steal something like it. Rhino is awesome, love that "rough" neatness you have going its excellent. So here is one more noise marine I painted today. Yes it is made of Forgeworld space marine, beastman head and a secret weapon! Actually, his weapon is a sonic blaster that I sculpted and multiplied in resin. The guy on the right is from older pics The guy on the left is also an old model, that I didn't put on display before though Enjoy.
