Captain Elarix
Hello, I have a question about basing. With my first 40k army I (regretfully) went ahead and painted my mini's without basing them first. So here's my question, how can I base my mini's in a way that looks good, but isn't too hard to base with the models already glued on? Thanks - Captain Elarix Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/212940-basing-question/ Share on other sites
BearersOfSalvation
All the advice I've seen on basing has you glue the models to the base first unless you're assembling some really unusual models on large bases or are trying to do something really unique with the base. It seems like you can just get some flocking, put white glue/Elmer's glue/PVC glue on the base, dip the base of the model into flock, then shake off the excess flock. Am I missing something? Prosedragon
Or, if you have extra bases (and who doesn't), base the extras, paint them, then take the painted marines off their bases and pin them on the painted ones. Repeat the process, using the bases you just took the marines off of.
